About Strides 4 SCOPE 5K
As part of the Generosity Series, the Strides 4 SCOPE 5K Run/Walk will take place on November 11th, 2018 in Manhattan's Riverside Park.
This amazing event features a live DJ, pre-race warm-up + stretch, a professional announcer, one-of-a-kind SCOPE event gear and just a fun time with friends, family, neighbors, camp-passionate people and other charitable individuals like yourself. All ages welcome! Bring your camp friends, home friends, school friends, random friends… and join us as we run/walk a 5K to support SCOPE!

SCOPE (Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education)
SCOPE is a national, nonprofit organization that has provided camp scholarships to more than 25,000 children from underserved communities since 1991.
SCOPE is proud to work as a partner in the lives of children. By opening the door to summer camp opportunities with our focus on education, and through our long-term commitment to our SCOPE campers, we seek to inspire and empower them to make positive contributions to their communities and become self-sustaining adults.

Funds raised through the Strides 4 SCOPE 5K will help give the hundreds of children from low-income families who receive the benefits of summer camp through SCOPE support access to summer camp experiences next summer.
